What is globalization?  1. Summary In the middle ages, China once had the concept of trade with the West, and it earned a lot of foreign exchange by exporting silk and tea, so German scholars in the 18th century named this road Silk Road. Later, with the rise of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, trade and trade were blocked. In order to be authentic to the Turks, western European countries explored the sea to find a new Silk Road. 2.
