Globalization has been around since ancient times. For example, China used to trade with the West on the Silk Road, sending silk and tea to western countries. Later, there were maritime expeditions such as Columbus' discovery of the New World and China's Zheng He's voyages to the Western seas.
Globalization can expose us to new cultures, including food, movies, music and art. Globalization promotes the spread of technology and innovation. Globalization can raise living standards. Globalization has brought us many benefits. Globalization is part of the modern world and we can easily taste different cuisines from all over the world and also use technology invented in other countries. Although globalization has made our life better, cultural differences around the world cannot be denied. Globalization does bring some challenges. Today's globalization is mainly reflected in internationalization, liberalization and generalization. But we should also pay attention to the spread of culture and cultural security. For example, some people think that cultural globalization has both advantages and disadvantages, which will make the connotation of local culture gradually blurred and lost. When cultures begin to lose their unique characteristics, we lose global diversity.
The traditional culture of China is more profound than that of other countries, because the history of China is longer than that of other countries. China has a history of about five thousand years and is one of the four ancient civilizations in ancient times. It has maintained its distinctive traditional culture until now. But the cultures of other countries also have their own characteristics and advantages. I think there is no view that one country's culture is better than the other. Similarly, modern culture and previous cultures can not be said to be good or bad, each era has its advantages and disadvantages.
Globalization is very important to all countries in the world, but it also has both advantages and disadvantages. We should use globalization in a reasonable and correct way to benefit mankind and make the world a better place.
