WOMEDU- Welzel equality-3: Gender equality: education
I chose the topic of gender equality education as the object of analysis and analyzed the data in four countries: China, Korea, Germany, and the United States. And the analysis was specific in terms of age, gender, and education level respectively.
From the gender, men in the third are about the same, of which China accounted for the most, but ie the fourth China and South Korea accounted for less, not half of the United States and Germany, while in the first two China and South Korea than Germany and the United States high, the second Korea the most. And in women, Germany in the fourth item accounted for the most, followed by the United States, Chi,na and South Korea is still less than them, in the third item China and SoutKoreanea proportion is heavier, while in the first two items China and South Korea proportioareis still more.
In the Inglehart-Welzel World Cultural Map2022, China and South Korea belong to the same cultural circle, deeply influenced by the ancient Chinese Confucian culture, there is a saying that "women are virtuous without talent", people generally feel that women do not need to get too much education, but with the development and progress of society, some of the influence of Western thought, these ideas have gradually changed, so the location on the map are similar, and the formation of the United States of America itself is the formation of European people, so in the map, The formation of the United States is itself composed of European people, so the location on the map is similar, and the ideas are also relatively similar, emphasizing freedom. Democracy and ideology is also more inclined to self-expression, everyone is fair, so the United States and Germany think that education equality is important for many people. However, as society progresses, the awareness of equality in education in China and Korea is gradually increasing.
