World Values Survey - Important child qualities: imagination

   

  I choose the topic about the importance of imagination in three complete difference country-China, Mexico and New Zealand.

  There are four opinions on this topic， the most prominent one is Not mentioned. Then the view which thinks imagination is  Important. So I analysed the two data mainly.

  

  We can find more different data from this sheet. About 40% of people think it's essential to have the ability to think and imagine. Instantly,  only 21.6% of people in China think imagination is essential to children.  I think the reason for this difference is the different education system.  In China, most parents and teachers think the grade is the only standard to evaluate whether a child is good or not. So they forget the significance of creating and imagining.

  And there is only 19.5% of Mexican people consider it important to imagine.  I think the reason why Mexican not mentioned the importance of have ability to imagine is economic redevelopment.  People put more attention on survival and increase income,  instant of  education.
