1.Summary
1）CorporationsPeter Dicken mentioned that multinational corporations are major influencers in the global economy. The scale and formation mechanism of multinational corporations are also explained to a certain extent, which completely illustrates the inevitable trend of economic globalization from several aspects.
2）The main body of international economic relations is multinational corporations, which generally refer to large enterprises or groups, relying on their strong capital and advanced science and technology, through foreign direct investment, etc., set up branches abroad or control local enterprises in the host country to become their Subsidiaries, and engage in international production, sales and other business activities to obtain high profits for the purpose of international enterprises. Multinational corporations tend to internationalize R&D. Previously, the R&D institutions of multinational corporations were mainly located in their own countries. With the strengthening of international competition and the rise of the knowledge economy, many resources related to the knowledge economy exist across borders.
3）In my opinion, economic globalization refers to the process of forming a global organic economic whole through the interconnection of world-wide economic activities through foreign trade, capital flow, technology transfer, and service provision. It is the flow of production factors such as goods, technology, information, services, currency, personnel, capital, and management experience across borders and regions. Simply put, the world economy is increasingly becoming a closely linked whole. Economic globalization is one of the important features of the contemporary world economy, and it is also an important trend in the development of the world economy.

2.Interesting point
Through articles and information found on other websites, I found that the globalization scale of the top-ranked multinational companies is greater, but some of the lower-ranked companies have also made more outstanding contributions to economic globalization.

3.Discussion question
The multinational corporations mentioned in the article are the subject of economic globalization, but without the participation of multinational corporations, are there any other strategies that can promote the development of economic globalization without the participation of the governments of various countries?

  1) SUMMARY  The article from the autors Gerard Delenty and Rumford, Political Globalization shows the different aspect of political Globalization. This subject can be understood with the help of three dimensions; global geopolitics, global normative culture and polycentric networks.
