What is globalization?

what is globalization?

YaeHyun park

Each country has its own unique culture. This culture has an impact on all aspects of human life such as politics, religion, society, and economy. The spread of culture was possible only after the expansion of the empire in the past or the end of a long voyage. But now, the whole world is connected by a huge communication network called the Internet. Cultural exchange has become much faster and more convenient. A person living on one border can be connected to a completely different country.

In other words, based on the rapid development of transportation and communication means and information and communication technology, artificial barriers to goods, labor, and information that exist between countries and regions have been broken down. As a result, the scope of the social and economic community expands beyond national boundaries, and the whole world is integrated into one. As the world is united, interdependence increases and transnational influence expands, eventually reducing the function of one nation's sovereignty.

To sum of, Globalization is the increase in exchanges between countries, allowing individuals or social groups to live in a large world beyond the country in which they reside.
