World Values Survey - The Importance of Religion (Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan) - Dwisafira D & Iqlima Shofiyah

We chose the topic about the importance of religion and we compared it among Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. From the result, it shows that Indonesia has the highest percentage which is 98.1% thinks religion is very important, and Malaysia is on the second place which is 72.4% thinks religion is very important, and Japan has the lowest percentage which is 4.6%. In addition, 42.1% people in Japan thinks religion is not important at all. Meanwhile, Indonesia and Malaysia are quite similar where it shows 0.0% of Indonesian thinks religion is not at all important, and 1.4% of malaysian thinks religion is not at all important.
From the map, we can see Indonesia is placed in african-islamic area and malaysia is on west & south asia area which is not really far from the african-islamic area and that can be the reason indonesia and malaysia have a quite similar result on the survey. On the other hand, Japan is placed in confucian area where people with confucianism believes in ancestor worship.
