World Values Survey - Important child qualities: good manners

I chose the topic on the importance of politeness, and I chose four completely different countries: Australia, China, France and South Korea. I compared them. From the data, among people under the age of 29, China has the highest proportion of politeness as an important quality of children, at 83.3%, followed by Australia at 80.8%, but it is not difficult to find from the table, In the four countries I have selected, the question of politeness as an important quality in children, the data shows that the four countries generally have high support rates, and a very small number of people do not mention this question or have no answer to this question.

I think the reason for this is because in the last few years, the way of education in every country has changed, and as a young group under 29, educating children often starts with behavior. In China, children's behavior is also one of the most direct ways to reflect the educational achievements of parents.

Looking at these results on the Inglehart-Welzel World Culture Map 2022, we can see that these four countries are all located in the top half of the map. I think this is probably the reason why these four countries have high numbers of people agreeing with this view. In today's era, the issue of children's politeness is gradually becoming more important, and the issue of parents' education for children is gradually changing. standardization.

The above is my simple analysis of this issue based on China, Australia, France, and South Korea.
