World Values Survey Wave 7: 2017-2022- State of health (China South Korea and Japan)

WVS:Analysis of the health state of three countries, China, South Korea and Japan

According to the data of the Seventh World Values Survey, what can be obtained is that generally speaking, the ratio of the column that the health situation of the three countries is considered to be very good is not very high, and the gap is not very obvious. But in the column that is considered good, South Korea's value is the highest with 74.7%!
The  interesting thing is that there are some obvious changes in the gap by age. When the age is 50 or above, China has the highest values in the very good column, with 22.2 percent, Japan 8.8 percent, and South Korea 2.6 percent.Although the ratio of South Korea's opinion that it is very good is not large, it has the largest proportion among the three countries in the column of "good", with 80% believing it is good.

On the Inglehart-Welzer cultural map, it can be seen that China, Korea and Japan are in the same plate. Geographically speaking, the three Asian countries are also neighboring countries, and the overall differences in cultural, dietary and living habits are not very large.
I think the reason for the disparate changes in health conditions is that first of all, Koreans pay attention not only to body management but also to health management. Through regular inspections, they can understand their physical condition and find and solve health problems in a timely manner. In addition, Korean men are obliged to do military service. Joining the military in China is a voluntary act, which is carried out through the registration and selection process. Also, I think the soil and water in South Korea is also relatively good. With the advantages of nature, the health quality will not be too bad.
